Bienvenidos – Welcome to NGS Hispanic Research Methodology Workshop
The 2020 National Genealogical Society (NGS), Family History Conference will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah this May 20-23. NGS is offering several conference workshops that are sure to be a BIG hit and fill up fast. This Hispanic Research Methodology workshop is being taught by the Family History Library’s Hispanic research specialists, Arturo Cuellar, AG, and Lynn Turner, AG.
Arturo says, “Each week, thousands of new records are added to the FamilySearch‘s historical collections in the Latin America genealogical databases. The ability to properly use this information will help you to succeed in your research. This workshop will help you to learn a proven method to find your Hispanic ancestors.”

Learn the research process to finding ancestors in Mexico, Latin America, and Spain. Basic research methodology guidelines, finding aids, language helps and how to read records. A case study will be covered to help demonstrate the process
