NCGS Free Webinar about the North Carolina Archives and State Library
“How a Genealogist Uses the State Archives of NC and the State Library of NC” presented by Diane Richard, ME, MBA.
The North Carolina Genealogical Society (Host Society for the 2017 NGS Conference) is presenting a free webinar on 20 January 2017 from 3:00–4:00 p.m. EST on visiting the NC Archives and State Library. After the free live presentation, the recording of the webinar will be available on the NCGS website (by late February) for all to view, anytime. A free handout will also be available on the NCGS website.
The webinar includes tips and tricks for what to do in advance of arrival, procedures for signing into and checking out the repository, and preparation for a successful visit.
This would be a great chance to get an overview of this fantastic research venue and help you better plan your visit before or after the NGS 2017 Raleigh conference.
