Buckeye Expansion: Migration into Ohio – Dana Palmer

SESSION: NGS2104-MIG-04 TRACK: Migration

Dana Ann Palmer, CG®, CGL(SM)

Many people moved to Ohio or passed through it. Where did they come from and where did they settle?  This session will cover early Northwest Territory settlement in Ohio from 1785 to the 1850’s. Discussion will include details on migration into Ohio with tips on how to connect your ancestor to their prior residence. If you have Ohio ancestors or want to join one of Ohio’s lineage societies, you need to attend this lecture.
