Jill Morelli , CG, is a professional genealogist who lectures on methodology and Scandinavian topics as well as the American Midwest and Northwest, emigration and immigration, ethnic groups, and more.

Jill is presenting three lectures. On Wednesday she offers an alternative approach when your people-focused research is stuck by stepping back from the micro-view. Her second lecture covers the Klondike Gold Rush (1896 to 1898) and delves into diaries and letters from the Yukon Territory. On Saturday, Morelli discusses the orphan trains on which more than 200,000 orphaned children from eastern cities were sent to the Midwest by sharing the stories of three orphan riders and their records.
