California Research Series Classes – Recordings (Free) Now Available!
As mentioned in an earlier blog, the California Genealogical Society (CGS) has organized presentations by archivists and librarians from six of the top genealogical resource facilities in the Sacramento/San Francisco areas. The free videos are supplements to the NGS 2022 Family History Conference in Sacramento 24-28 May.
Looking for California ancestors? Before your arrival in Sacramento, watch these free videos for research tips from some experts.
The first four of those talks have already occurred and were well attended. There were more than 100 participants for the February 1 presentation. But, not to worry if you missed one or more of them. You need not suffer from FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). CGS received permission to record all of the talks and the first four are now available on YouTube.
Go to the dedicated NGS Conference page on the CGS website to view the California Research Series videos or to sign up for the remaining two classes on March 15 and March 22. Or, on YouTube, search for CAancestors.
Remember, these are the experts on each of the repositories featured.. And, both the recordings and the live talks are free!
