The Gasconade County Historical Society’s mission is to preserve and communicate the history of Gasconade County – past and present. The GCHS Archives & Records Center is located at 315 Schiller Street in Hermann, Missouri.

We offer a one-stop research facility for anyone curious about the lives of citizens of Gasconade County.  The Center maintains probate, circuit court, marriage, cemetery and inquest records. We also house tax, real estate, county commission and one-room school house records. In addition, the Center preserves a collection of family histories and genealogies, collections of family papers and files of information on various community topics.
