Today is Post #125 for the NGS 2017 Family History Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is also the last post for the 2017 Conference, because it is over…yes, it is…ended yesterday.

If you attended, you are probably home now exhausted and exhilarated by all you have learned, and eager to put it to use to solve your own family history problems. If you exhibited, lectured, worked, or volunteered at or for the conference, you are probably just exhausted. It takes a village to put on a major genealogy conference.

With that in mind, I’d like to thank a few people whose help and support made my voyage as NGS Conference Blog Editor possible.

Diane Richards and the NCGS Publicity Committee – thank you for countless hours of help, support, superbly crafted submissions, and an image with every post! You set a standard which will be hard to match, let alone exceed.

Kathryn Doyle and Terry Koch-Bostic, fellow NGS Board Members par excellence – thank you Kathryn for helping me get up to speed using the WordPress platform, and emailing me several times with offers of help. You helped more than you realize. And Terry – Board V.P. and Publicity / Marketing whiz for making sure we had the information we needed when we needed it.

Mark J. Lowe, Conference Co-Chair, and expert on so many things southern research for the wonderful story about the Raleigh Conference theme. Of all the posts we ran, that one was my favorite.
