Looking for Volunteer Opportunities with GRIP?
The Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP) is proud to be part of the National Genealogical Society’s (NGS) education branch. Each year, dedicated members and students of NGS and GRIP generously donate their time and talents to help our organization thrive.
We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our institute in various ways. Some opportunities are virtual, while others require you to join us in Pittsburgh in July.
Are you passionate about history, heritage, and connecting with others? As a GRIP volunteer, you’ll be at the heart of the action—assisting students and instructors, supporting speakers, and contributing to a vibrant community of genealogy enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned genealogist or new to the field and looking for a meaningful way to get involved, we have a role for you!
As a GRIP volunteer, you’ll enjoy:
- Opportunities to network with fellow genealogists
- The satisfaction of helping others
- Priority registration for GRIP courses
Ready to make an impact? We invite you to complete our volunteer interest form and let us know how you’d like to contribute. Together, we can continue to inspire and educate the genealogy community!
