Nicole Dyer is a professional genealogist specializing in Southern U.S. research and genetic genealogy. She created FamilyLocket.com and co-hosts the Research Like a Pro Genealogy Podcast with her mother, Diana Elder, AG, with whom she co-authored Research Like a Pro, Research Like a Pro with DNA, and Research Like a Pro with AI. Nicole teaches Research Like a Pro study groups, coordinated a 2025 Texas Institute of Genealogical Research course on AI in genealogy, and lectures nationally on genealogical technology. She holds a degree in History Teaching and serves as project manager, editor, and researcher at Family Locket Genealogists.
