Christine Murphy

Christine Murphy is a professional genealogist specializing in family lineage research in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Her expertise also includes Irish immigrant family research and the preparation of lineage society applications. She is a member of both the New Jersey Chapter and the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists.

Christine previously served as the New Jersey State Registrar for the Daughters of the American Revolution and successfully completed all eight courses in the DAR Genealogical Education Program. She has also documented and proven the service of nine of her own Revolutionary War Patriots. In addition, she is a former Trustee and Programs Chair of the Genealogical Society of New Jersey. Christine is a frequent speaker for NJ DAR chapters and local genealogy societies.

She holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University, is a graduate of ProGen 42, and has completed advanced coursework through the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP), the Genealogical Institute on Federal Records (Gen-Fed), the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG), and the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research (IGHR).
