Christine Fiechter, MSW, AIGG, is an Accredited Investigative Genetic Genealogist and Chair of the Executive Committee of the Investigative Genetic Genealogy Association, where she is helping build a collaborative professional community for investigative genetic genealogists and allied professionals. Her leadership work centers on education, shared learning, professional growth, and responsible practice in the developing field of investigative genetic genealogy.
Christine is a Senior IGG Program Assistant at the Ramapo College of New Jersey Investigative Genetic Genealogy Center, where she supports student learning through case-based education. She is also a Case Strategy Coordinator with the DNA Doe Project and the owner of PinPoint DNA, LLC. Her formal training includes programs through Ramapo College, the University of New Haven, and Boston University.
With a Master of Social Work and more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, program development, and professional education, Christine brings a multidisciplinary perspective to genetic genealogy, professional development, and the responsible growth of the IGG field.
